The blocks complement the existing broad block portfolio from Ivoclar Vivadent. Dental practices are now in a position to offer all types of digitally fabricated restorations made of Ivoclar Vivadent materials.
Tetric CAD is an esthetic composite block that ensures the efficient fabrication of single tooth restorations. Due to the material’s exceptional chameleon effect, the restorations produced with this block smoothly blend in with the remaining tooth structure.
Easy and efficient application
Restorations made of Tetric CAD are easy to grind and polish. They are conditioned with Adhese Universal and placed with Variolink Esthetic using the adhesive bonding technique. This method achieves esthetic results quickly and efficiently. The new blocks are particularly suitable for single-visit treatments.
Logical extension of the portfolio
Tetric CAD complements the Tetric product family and rounds off the broad portfolio of CAC/CAM blocks from Ivoclar Vivadent, which covers a wide spectrum of indications – ranging from provisionals made of PMMA material to permanent restorations made of ceramics, zirconium oxide and composite resin.
Wide range of sizes, shades and translucency levels
The new composite blocks are available in the MT and HT translucency levels and in five and four shades respectively as well as in sizes I12 and C14. At present, they can be milled with the CEREC/InLab system from Dentsply Sirona. Preparations are underway to release the blocks for additional CAD/CAM systems.
